dell-latitude-xt-rumor.jpgLike the iPhone’s touchscreen? Well, imagine a computer with similar capabilities. Dell has finally revealed more details regarding its first tablet PC, called the Latitude XT, with capacitive touchscreen technology. BenQ Siemens SL98 reverse slider

December 14th, 2007 by kukon

sl98.jpgThe BenQ Siemens SL98 cellphone is truly unique as it takes the slider form factor and turns it upside down by working in the reverse. When closed, the SL98 somewhat resembles the Samsung Upstage, featuring a single-line display on top and a standard numeric keypad at the bottom. The larger display is located near the rear which requires the user to slide it upwards. I’m not sure how much of an impact doing things the opposite way will make, but the SL98 is bound to wow whoever plays with it for at least the first couple of minutes. Specifications are rather mediocre with a 1.3 megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth connectivity and a QVGA display.

Cheap Pink Zune 8 on Amazon

Forget the Zune 80 this Christmas, they are impossible to get a hold of and go for the smaller, sleek and, ultimately, cuter Zune flash players. Amazon is selling a pink Zune 8 for only $157.74 plus shipping. Other Zune 8 colors are much higher priced at $184.99 or almost the Microsoft suggested retail price of $199. I rather like the green Zune 2, but remember when the original pink Zune first appeared and how popular there were?

N-Gage Coming to N81 Next Week

December 14th, 2007 by kukon

Ruby Tuesday next week will see Nokia N-Gage portable gaming power unleashed in N81 phones. There will only be a couple of games available at the pre-release version of N-Gage and other smart phones will not be able to join in the fray before 2008. First, the delays and now a disappointing eclusive for the N81. Hope playing Star Wars will reward our patience.

Like iPod, but with camera

December 14th, 2007 by kukon

Given the popularity of iPods and cameras, it is no surprise that we’ve seen this sort of thing before (albeit with the HDD-using iPod type). This time, however, BTL International clones and shoves a 2MP camera into the back of the current-gen Nano with its M2406 model.
